Cosa has teamed up with Louis Erard, a prestigious Swiss watchmaker, to redesign its e-commerce site. The project aimed to reinforce the brand’s bold image, showcase its collaborations and create a fluid, sales-focused online experience.

A redesign to enhance user experience

Overview

Louis Erard, a watchmaking company founded in 1929 in the Swiss Jura, upholds its independent spirit and offers emblematic mechanical watches. With its website accounting for almost half of its sales, Louis Erard called on Cosa to redesign its website.

Context

With over forty models, a hundred accessories and a drop of new products every 6 to 8 weeks, Louis Erard needed a site focused on its products and capable of handling peaks in visits without impacting the user experience.

The collaboration strengthened Louis Erard’s online presence, optimizing the user experience and implementing solutions to increase sales and customer engagement. The project aimed to reflect the brand’s bold image and facilitate site management.

Solutions

Focus UX / UI :

Our team embarked on a UX/UI overhaul of the site to improve the overall look and feel: improve accessibility, loading speed, appearance and user experience with intuitive navigation, speed up the purchasing process by minimizing clicks, and detail the product sheets (instructions, additional info). To meet demand, we have also implemented pop-up windows, alerts, one-click purchase/reservation or pre-purchase options.

 

Focus WordPress x Shopify :

The team responded to the client’s brief for the WordPress and Shopify platforms by simplifying site updates, integrating Google Analytics and connecting the site to social networks and news. We set up an intuitive back office to manage e-commerce and web content. The platform supports several payment methods (EUR, CHF, USD cards, PayPal, TWINT, etc.) and offers payment solutions in installments.

 

Focus CRM :

To strengthen customer retention and maximize engagement for Louis Erard, we offered strategic support via Klaviyo, a marketing automation platform. Our teams chose this tool for its ease of use, seamless integration with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), advertising tools (Meta, Google Ads) and reporting tools. Its data-driven approach enables precise tracking of subscriber engagement and behavior on the e-shop.
